“We do not know ‘

141095 We know no ” We do not know what we are doing ‘, writes in his Voranai Vanijaka sometimes cynical and often ironic column in Sunday Bangkok Post in response to the floods.

Take the spokesperson. Yingluck Shinawatra Prime Minister, Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi, spokesman Wim Rungwattanajinda, Minister Pracha Promnok and Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra are all “official authorities” over the situation reports. But their stories are rarely coincide.

Plodprasop Minister (of false alarms), Pracha Minister, and Prime Yingluck: they are all experts in their field, but they have minds of fighting floods? To all ministers in the government are actively involved, may seem a sensible publicity stunt. “But is it sensible to ask a hairy, fat plumber to Thurs spandex and dance ballet Swan Lake?”

Yingluck Premier, Minister Plodprasop, opposition leader Abhisit: they are all concerned but the real experts do not have the leadership and fear loss of face to lead the help of knowledgeable foreigners are not invoked.

Whether these experts once in charge, doubts Voranai: “Like everything else , flood management is a money game, as such it’s Heavily politicised. [..] Yet, there’s something we know best how to do, to get things done in our Favour. But unfortunately, Mother Nature Does not Take Bribe money. “
